Executive Short Course: Climate Emergency and its Impacts on Health

This three-day intensive course is delivered by climate experts and humanitarian health practitioners and focuses on the climate emergency and its impacts on health. Lecturers include experts from MSF, IFRC and the UN Environmental Programme.

Course objectives

Learn how to identify the impacts of the current climate-related emergency on health, then focus on adaptation strategies, and specific actions and challenges for humanitarian assistance.

AUDIENCE

  • Professionals in the humanitarian, development or social sector looking to develop their competencies as well as reflect and capitalise on their experiences
  • Professionals from other sectors who wish to increase their understanding of the humanitarian sector for a potential career change
  • Graduate students with relevant volunteer or intern experience, looking to undertake a post-graduate course with a view to entering the humanitarian sector.
