Designing an Advocacy Strategy for Humanitarian Action


At the end of the course, the participants will be able to:

  • Elaborate an advocacy plan to support programmatic objectives in humanitarian interventions
  • Define the principal steps for the development and  implementation of the advocacy plan
  • Master key tools and concepts to use in advocacy efforts (campaign, lobby, stakeholder mapping advocacy plan of action…)
Academic credits 2 ECTS, recognized by the University of Geneva and the Graduate Institute (IHEID). 

Registration: Registration fee is 1,500 CHF, payable upon registration. 
Participants: Mid-level and senior-level managers with experience or plans to work in conflict and emergency settings. Prerequisites for the course are a university bachelor's degree (or equivalent), and at least 3 years of professional experience.
